Immersify attend first event at Cardiff University

On the 10th of July, the Immersify team travelled to the city of Cardiff to meet with hundreds of dental students from the UK while they participated in the British Dental Students Association (BDSA) Sports Day.

The team were excited to catch up with students, engage with representatives at other stalls and, of course, promote the updates that have been made within the Immersify Dental platform.

Now, hear from our Marketing Manager as to how the day went!

The lead up

The gates opened at 11:00, which meant that we had to arrive at 09:30 to have everything ready for the students’ arrival. We brought our usual setting: our flower wall (a fan favourite), an iPad so everyone could try out the Immersify Dental platform and pop sockets with the Immersify logo – who doesn’t love free event swag!?

However, we wanted to make this event special, as this was our first one after the launch of the Immersify Premium Trial. That’s why we brought a wheel of fortune full of prizes that ranged from discounts codes for Immersify Premium to water bottles and sports bags (aligned with the sports theme).

During the event

Although it was a very hot summers day, learners from places like the University of Manchester, University of Leeds, University of Birmingham, Queen Mary University of London, and our hosts, Cardiff University, stopped by to have a chat and test some of the features included in Immersify Premium.

As usual, we had a great time meeting so many dental students that are passionate about dentistry and who enjoy using Immersify Dental. Some of the students were not aware about the Immersify Premium trial, so it was an amazing opportunity to share the news.

After the event

To unwind from the busy day, we went for some food and had a walk around Cardiff. Being a big football fan, I had to take a picture of Cardiff’s National Football Stadium, as well as the lovely umbrella street, very picturesque if you ask me.

As usual, we had lots of fun and we can’t wait for the next event!
